However, by submitting content to Arguuu, you grant Blue Particle Studios a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable, irrevocable licence to use, reproduce, display, distribute, and adapt your content for the purpose of operating, improving, and promoting the Service, including displaying debate transcripts to other users.
You represent and warrant that your content does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of any third party.
We do not endorse, and are not responsible or liable for, any content posted by users. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms without notice or liability.
WIT Scores are calculated by Arguuu's proprietary algorithm and are subject to change as the algorithm is updated. WIT Scores are provided for entertainment and competitive engagement purposes only. They do not constitute a formal evaluation of a user's intelligence, skill, or character.
Vote weights are assigned by the system based on activity and credibility factors. Vote weight assignments are final and at the discretion of Arguuu's scoring engine. We reserve the right to correct or reset scores in cases of detected manipulation or technical errors.
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Arguuu application, including but not limited to the name "Arguuu," the logo, the WIT scoring system, the matchmaking algorithm, the UI design, and all proprietary technology, are owned exclusively by Blue Particle Studios or its licensors.
Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, licence, or interest in our intellectual property beyond the limited, revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes as described herein.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have:
You may delete your account at any time through the in-app account settings. Deletion is permanent and will result in the loss of your WIT score, debate history, and all associated data, subject to the retention provisions in our Privacy Policy.

Updated: April 10, 2026Arguuu is a structured real-time debate application built for people who love making arguments, dissecting ideas, and competing intellectually. Two users debate a topic — one FOR the motion, one AGAINST — while an audience watches, reacts, and votes on who argued best. Performance is tracked via the WIT (Win-Intelligence-Track) score, which builds over time across all your debates.
Anyone aged 13 and above can use Arguuu. Users between 13–17 must have parental or guardian consent. The platform is designed for thoughtful, civil discourse — no prior debate experience required.
Yes, the core Arguuu experience is completely free. All debate features, matchmaking, WIT scoring, and audience participation are available at no cost. If we introduce premium features in the future, we will notify users clearly and in advance.
Arguuu is available as a native mobile application for Android and iOS devices. It is built with Flutter, which means the experience is consistent and smooth across both platforms.
You can browse or create Debate Rooms from the home screen. Once inside a room, you can join as a debater (FOR or AGAINST) or as an audience member. Matchmaking will automatically pair you with an opponent when one is available. You'll receive a notification when a match is found and will be taken to a countdown screen before the debate begins.
Each message (called a "chat bubble") has a maximum length of 200 characters and must contain at least 1 word. You may send a maximum of 3 bubbles per turn. These constraints are intentional — they reward concise, punchy argumentation over rambling. Turns alternate between debaters, so strategy is key.
Tagging lets you highlight specific text within your opponent's message to draw attention to it — useful for pointing out logical fallacies, contradictions, or key admissions. Audience members can see tagged segments and they contribute to the overall analysis of the debate.
Yes. You may resign from a debate at any time. A resignation is recorded as a loss and will affect your WIT score accordingly. Frequent or unexplained resignations may also affect your matchmaking priority. Always try to complete debates — sportsmanship is a core value of the Arguuu community.
At the end of a debate, audience members enter a voting screen and select either: the FOR debater, the AGAINST debater, or "Add 5 Minutes" (to extend the debate). Each vote carries a weight multiplier (e.g., 1.2×) based on the voter's credibility score. The weighted tally determines the winner. Debaters cannot vote on their own debates.
WIT stands for Win-Intelligence-Track. It is Arguuu's proprietary ranking metric that evaluates your debate performance over time. Factors influencing your WIT score include: debate wins and losses (weighted by opponent strength), audience vote margins, completion rate (non-resignations), and participation frequency. Your WIT score grows with consistent, quality debating.
Your WIT score decreases naturally from losses and resignations — that's by design. However, scores will only be forcibly reset by us in cases of confirmed cheating, vote manipulation, or account reinstatement following a ban. We will notify you if this occurs. Deleting your account permanently deletes your WIT score.
We collect your email, username, debate content (messages, reactions, votes), WIT score history, and basic device/technical data for crash reporting. We do not collect your phone number, location, contacts, financial information, or any sensitive personal data. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
No. We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes. Your data is used exclusively to operate and improve the Arguuu service.
You can delete your account directly from the in-app settings under "Account." Deletion is permanent and initiates a 30-day process during which your personally identifiable data is erased from our systems. Some anonymised, non-identifiable data (such as aggregate debate statistics) may be retained for platform integrity purposes. Yes. Debate messages are visible to all authenticated users who are in the debate room or watching the debate. This is a core part of the platform's functionality. Do not share sensitive personal information within debate messages. Your username is always attached to your messages.
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure, which is hosted in EU-West and US-East data centres. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). We maintain Row Level Security on all database tables so that data is accessible only by authorised parties.
You can report any message or user using the in-app report button accessible from the debate screen or user profile. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team within 48 hours. For urgent safety matters, email blueparticlestudios@gmail.com directly.
If your account is banned, you will receive a notification explaining the reason. Bans may be temporary (for first offences) or permanent (for severe or repeated violations). You can appeal a ban by emailing blueparticlestudios@gmail.com with your username and a description of your case. All appeals are reviewed within 14 business days.
We may use automated content analysis tools to flag potentially harmful content for human review. Final moderation decisions are always made by a human moderator. We do not use fully automated decision-making that results in account termination without human oversight.
